Built from a diaspora question.
“I know what it feels like to leave home for opportunity. Now I want to help build more opportunity at home.”
SOKAN Africa was founded by Adeshina Adesokan as a practical bridge between credible African operators and the people who can buy, invest, advise, partner and participate.
WHY IT STARTED
Growing up in Nigeria and moving to the UK at 15 shaped how Ade thinks about opportunity, migration, belonging and what families give up when opportunity feels easier to find elsewhere.
WHAT HE LEARNED
Psychology, creative entrepreneurship, community building and cross-border operating experience taught him that capital alone is not enough. Trust, context and strong relationships matter.
